Edinburgh Dub Club and Messenger together invite you to an historic event - for the first time ever there will be a reggae soundsystem dance by the seaside in Portobello.

Providing the musikal hot-shots from 5pm - 11pm is the original MESSENGER SOUNDSYSTEM - with more than 30 years in the game shining a light on great roots reggae music and providing conscious vibes in the dance at the famous Bongo Club, now they reach Portie for the first time. On the mic, the legendary Afrikan Simba is back from Nigeria and ready to hot up the session once more.

There will be a bar, hot food and good vibes guaranteed throughout.

This really is an unmissable event - if you have never experienced the power of real reggae and dub music on a traditional hand-built soundsystem, this is your chance to see why this culture is going from strength to strength around the globe - promoting unity, community and positivity for the common man woman and child.

Children under the age of 18 are allowed at the event until 8pm under our license conditions.

Tickets cost £10 - £14 + BF in advance (more on the door) for adults and £5 for under 18s (Free for under 5s). This event features loud music and your discretion is advised.
